Yesterday we wrote about DrupalCamp Stockholm that took place yesterday, and about our nomination for the Swedish Drupal Awards. And we couldn't be happier with the outcome. The event was a huge success with a record audience – and we won the tech prize!
This version of DrupalCamp Stockholm had close to 300 participants – primarily Drupal developers and service providers, but also project owners who are interested in the system. There was a heavy focus on Drupal 8, but there was also talks about things like Drupal vs. Wordpress and 10 steps to become a great client.
The winners of the Swedish Drupal Awards were Stockholm Film Festival (website of the year), Clowns Without Borders (design of the year), Pontus Nilsson (drupalista of the year) – and our own TVmatchen widget won the prize for technology of the year! The winning websites are all interesting examples of how Drupal can be used, and the list of nominees has more interesting use cases for those who are interested. I'd like to thank all the speakers and the audience who helped make DrupalCamp a success (especially those of you who voted for our entry of course!). Another big thanks to TVmatchen who allow us to work with their platforms, and Cloudnet who makes sure everything is running smoothly!
